Instrumental diagnostic methods applied for orchiectomy in cockerels
نویسندگان
چکیده
Any common surgical procedure, including orchiectomy in cockerels, requires perfect knowledge topography and syntopy of the organ surgery is performed on. This also implies acquiring necessary information via application a number instrumental methods such as diagnostic roentgenography sonography. Both have positive (intravital, painless quick procedure) well negative (possible flaws diagnostics due to age peculiarities) aspects.

Applied Nonparametric Instrumental Variables Estimation
Instrumental variables are widely used in applied econometrics to achieve identification and carry out estimation and inference in models that contain endogenous explanatory variables. In most applications, the function of interest (e.g., an Engel curve or demand function) is assumed to be known up to finitely many parameters (e.g., a linear model), and instrumental variables are used identify ...
متن کاملEvaluation of different diagnostic methods in Onychomycosis
Background: At present time, the diagnosis of onychomycosis is based on clinical signs, direct exam and fungal culture, whereas Pathologic methods have shown to be more sensitive than other methods. Objective: Evaluation of pathologic methods in the diagnosis of onychomycosis in comparison to direct smear and culture. Patients and Methods: A nail sample was cut form 96 suspected onychomycosis p...
متن کاملShrinkage methods for instrumental variable estimation∗
This paper proposes shrinkage methods for instrumental variable estimation to solve the “many instruments” problem. Even though using a large number of instruments reduces the asymptotic variances of the estimators, it has been observed both in theoretical works and in practice that in finite samples the estimators may behave very poorly if the number of instruments is large. This problem can b...
